  1. It raises bad cholesterol levels in the body
  2. It can block up the arteries to the heart
  3. It increases the risk of heart disease – one of the biggest killers in developed countries
  4. It can lead to obesity – which comes with no end of increased health problems
  5. It can increase the risk of strokes
  6. It may increase risk of prostate cancer
  7. It may increase risk of cancer of the small intestine
