The Truth About Swine Flu

16 Mar

If you watch any kind of news, the swine flu pandemic will likely be something that you have worried about, maybe even lost some sleep over.

And yet, the media are not telling the whole story.

So here it is: The Truth About Swine Flu

Firstly, the fact that our media is reporting the H1N1 virus as being so dangerous is in direct contrast with the evidence based on the number of people contracting the virus and the effects the virus is having on these people.

Let’s examine some of the unreported facts about swine flu, and then discuss which people are more at risk of contracting the virus.

  1. Studies are revealing that those people who have, in the past, received ‘flu shots’ may actually be at more risk of contracting the H1N1 virus and developing complications
  2. While it is true that 36 children unfortunately died from the H1N1 virus last summer, 30 of them were facing chronic health conditions and the others had co-occurring bacterial infections
  3. Statistically, 99.99% of people who contract the H1N1 virus are experiencing very brief and mild effects

And so, assuming you are in a state of good health and taking the precautions discussed below, you should not become overly concerned about the virus.

Some people are at greater risk of contracting the virus and suffering complications, namely those who:

  • Are obese.
  • Are already suffering chronic health problems, such as asthma or immune deficiency disorders.

All people should take the following precautions:

  • Supplement Vitamin D
  • Avoid sugar and processed foods, which weaken the immune system
  • Rest – without adequate rest your body will be unable to fight any virus
  • Exercise – to improve your immune system
  • Supplement Omega 3

Katie, so true and so right. I knew it was more of a “Scare” than an actual “threat”. Health is the way to combat these sicknesses. Glad you are making people aware. I can testify by health awareness and taking measures to promote optimal health, my wife and I have spent zero Dollars on sickness in twelve years (and that was while raising six children!). Wellness works!!
